The Story Behind 226.

Like many small business owners, I know what it’s like to wear every hat.

Over the years, I’ve worked in customer service, healthcare, retail, and education while managing a household and all the financial planning that comes with family life. I’ve run my own small business, and I understand what it takes, on both sides of the counter, to keep things organized behind the scenes.

Through those experiences, I saw how many business owners spend evenings and weekends catching up on bookkeeping instead of focusing on the work they enjoy the most. I’ve been there myself! I also learned how valuable organized books and financial reports are when it comes to making confident business decisions and difficult year-end tasks. Looking at you, tax prep.

That’s what led me to create 226 Ledger Co.

Why 226? February 26 is the day I began this journey. It’s a reminder that every business starts with a big dream and a single decision to take the first step.
